These terms apply when you claim, verify or manage a business listing on Revaliew. If you use the review invitation service, the Data Processing Agreement also applies and takes precedence on any question about personal data.
A listing may exist before anyone claims it. Claiming one transfers management of that listing to you; it does not transfer ownership of the reviews on it.
To claim or verify a business you must show that you control it. We accept a document that establishes your connection to the business — a bill in the business name, registration papers, a certificate of insurance, or evidence that you are signed in to the business's own accounts — or a DNS record published on the business's domain. A logo, a photograph of your premises, or a screenshot of a public web page is not accepted, because anyone could produce one.
We may refuse or reverse a claim if the evidence does not establish control, if the business is already claimed, or if we believe the claim is not made in good faith.
These rules are not negotiable and apply regardless of your plan.
These reflect the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, which makes fake and incentivised reviews a civil offence, and equivalent rules elsewhere. Breaching them can result in your listing being flagged publicly, your access being withdrawn, or both.
You may reply publicly to any review of your business. Replies are subject to the same content rules as reviews: no personal data about the reviewer beyond what they disclosed, no threats, no abuse.
You may report a review you believe breaches our rules, and we will assess it. Disagreeing with a review is not grounds for removal. A genuine account of a real experience stays up even when it is unflattering, and asking us to remove one on that basis will not succeed.
You are responsible for everything you publish on your listing — description, images, products, services, contact details and links. You warrant that you have the right to publish it and that it is accurate and not misleading.
You grant Revaliew a non-exclusive licence to display that content on the site and in search results for as long as your listing exists.
Some categories are not listed on Revaliew, including unlicensed financial and insurance services, controlled substances, weapons, adult services, and counterfeit goods. Submissions are screened before they are published, and a listing found to fall into a prohibited category is suspended.
Paid plans are billed in advance at the interval shown at checkout, and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period and we do not refund part-used periods unless the law requires it.
Prices are shown exclusive of any tax that applies to you, which is added at checkout where required.
Features included in a plan may change. If a change materially reduces what you are paying for, we will tell you before it takes effect and you may cancel.
Where your plan includes review invitations, the number you may send per day is set by us and earned by your sending history, not by your plan. A list that produces excessive bounces or opt-outs will be throttled or suspended automatically.
This is not a commercial limit and cannot be lifted by paying more. Invitations are sent from shared infrastructure, and one poor list degrades delivery for every other business on the platform.
We may suspend or withdraw access if you breach these terms, if your listing falls into a prohibited category, or if we are required to by law. Where the breach is capable of correction and no one is being harmed in the meantime, we will normally tell you what is wrong and give you an opportunity to fix it first.
You may stop using Revaliew at any time. Reviews already published remain published: they belong to the people who wrote them and to the readers who rely on them, and removing a business's reviews on request would make every rating on the site untrustworthy.
Revaliew provides the service as it is. We do not guarantee that a listing will produce enquiries, reviews or customers.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period.
We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified to the email address on your account before they take effect.
