Anyone who has actually been a customer. Write about your own experience, not something you were told - and keep it fair and genuine. You do not need to have been invited by the business, and you do not need to have spent a lot.
Every review passes through automated checks before it is published, and anything the filters flag is looked at by a person. We may ask a reviewer for proof that they were a customer. Reviews that we cannot stand behind are removed, whoever they favour.
No. Reviews are not for sale and neither is their removal. No plan, at any price, lets a business delete, hide or reorder a review written about it.
A review comes down only if it breaks our guidelines, and that decision is made by our moderation team rather than by the business it concerns. A business can always reply publicly, and it can report a review it believes is fake or abusive - which puts it in front of a moderator like any other report.
Yes, and it is the best thing a business can do with feedback. The reply appears publicly beneath the review.
Anyone on the business's Revaliew account can post it - the owner, or any team member they have given a seat to. We think an open exchange builds more trust than a perfect score does.
Yes, at any time, from your account. Your review is yours - if your experience with a business changes, your review can change with it.
Use the Report button next to the review. Tell us briefly what is wrong with it, and a moderator will look at it. Reporting a review does not hide it while we decide, and a business reporting a review it simply dislikes will not have it removed.
By default the directory is ordered by how much attention a listing has had this month, so the businesses people are actually looking at come first. You can change that whenever you like: newest, oldest, most viewed, or highest rated.
Nobody can buy a position. There is no paid placement in the directory, and a business's plan has no effect on where it appears.
It is the straight average of every published review, out of five, rounded to one decimal place. Every review counts the same, whether it was written this week or three years ago, and a business cannot leave out one it dislikes.
The figure beside the stars is how many reviews that average is built from. A 4.8 from six people and a 4.8 from six hundred are not the same claim, so we always show both.
